As least in the North American markets, It looks like Sony is releasing ‘Bad boys For Life’, the third movie in the Bad Boys series on the home formats extra-early.
“Bad Boys for Life” is a sequel to 1995’s “Bad Boys” and 2003’s “Bad Boys II.”
Is the highest-grossing movie of the year so far, earning $204 million in North America.

With a new case that finds them teaming with a hotshot division of the Miami PD to take down a merciless cartel, Will Smith and Martin Lawrence return for the third “Bad Boys” movie.
Prior to the pandemic crisis, most theatrical releases were not available at home until roughly 90 days after they premiered in multiplexes.
But given the unprecedented circumstances, Disney, Lionsgate, Sony, Universal, STX Films and Warner Bros. have all announced plans to release films early.
Home video bonus materials include extended and alternate scenes, and outtakes and bloopers.
The Blu-ray and digital releases will also include the production featurettes “Ride or Die: Making Bad Boys for Life” and “Partners in Crime: Behind-the-Scenes”; the retrospective featurette “It’s About Time,” a look at 25 years of “Bad Boys” history with producer Jerry Bruckheimer, the cast and crew; and a look at hidden references layered into the film by directors Adil and Billal.

Sony Pictures Home Entertainment will release the action-comedy Bad Boys for Life through digital retailers March 31.
On Blu-ray Disc, DVD and 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray, on April 21.
