Brendan Fraser to Play Villain on Batgirl Starring Leslie Grace to DC’s Movie

Warner Bros And DC’s has chosen Brendan Fraser will play a villain in the live-action Batgirl film. We know next to nothing about the plot of Batgirl, that’s will be played by Leslie Grace.
Leslie is an actress and composer who made his debut in John M. Chu’s “In the Heights” (2021).

Brendan Fraser on Batgirl as a villain

Currently voicing the character Robotman/Cliff Steele on Doom Patrol, previous news wrongly said that Fraser was portraying the villain Carmine Falcone.
However, although not officially confirmed, Deadline reports that Fraser is playing the supervillain Firefly.

“Born Garfield Lynns, Firefly started as a petty criminal after his career as a movie pyrotechnic expert suddenly ended. Of course, with that particular set of skills, Lynns decided to bring his expertise to the criminal underworld and started carrying out arson attacks throughout Gotham.”

Adil El Arbi and Bilall Fallah (Bad Boys for Life) will direct the movie. While Kristin Burr is producing and Christina Hodson (The Flash) is in charge of the script.

We know next to nothing about the Batgirl plot.
The choice of Brendan Fraser follows shortly after Leslie is announced as Batgirl, after competing with other actresses for the role.

We don’t know when Batgirl is coming out but is not getting the theatrical release, will be directly released on HBO Max.
