‘Bupkis’: Peacock’s Comedy Series First Look Shows Pete Davidson and Joe Pesci

Despite not revealing when ‘Bupkis’ will premiere, Peacock has begun to reveal some clues. This now comes in the form of the first image from the comedy series starring Pete Davidson.
In the picture, Davidson is next to Oscar-winning veteran Joe Pesci. Check out below. (Click on the image to amplify)

‘Bupkis’ is a half-hour live-action comedy that will roughly retell Davidson’s life story. Evidently, with an exaggerated mix of absurd elements. With Davidson’s signature unfiltered style of humor and worldview.
Pesci, semi-retired for years, returns in his first appearance on television since Half Nelson in 1985.

Pesci will act as the grandfather of Davidson alongside ‘The Sopranos’ star Edie Falco as Davidson’s mother.

It’s the second time Pete Davidson penned an adaptation of his life.
He writes by side Dave Sirus and the showrunner Judah Miller.
The trio also acts as executive producers alongside SNL boss Lorne Michaels for Broadway Video, Andrew Singer, and Erin David.
Jason Orley will co-executive produce and direct the series. He is a frequent collaborator of Davidson’s. Both in his comedy specials and his film ‘Big Time Adolescence’ for Hulu.

Production is underway, but the Peacock did not indicate when Bupkis will release. Stay tuned here for more on the series as production continues.
