From executive producers Alex Kurtzman and Jenny Lumet, ‘Clarice’ new TV series based on ‘Silence of the Lambs’ have news.

‘Silence of the Lambs’ sequel series, reveals a first teaser trailer and a release date in the middle season.
‘Clarice’ will debut on CBS on Thursday, February 11 at 10 p.m. ET/PT.

Rebecca Breeds (Pretty Little Liars) will step into the role of the character previously played by Jodie Foster and Julianne Moore. The series also stars Kal Penn, Nick Sandow, and Michael Cudlitz. You can watch the first teaser below.

Official Synopsis

The series is a deep dive into the untold personal story of FBI Agent Clarice Starling as she returns to the field in 1993.
One year after the events of ‘The Silence of the Lambs.’ Brilliant and vulnerable, Clarice’s bravery gives her an inner light that draws monsters and madmen to her.
However, her complex psychological makeup that comes from a challenging childhood empowers her to begin to find her voice while working in a man’s world, as well as escape the family secrets that have haunted her throughout her life.

The Silence of the Lambs was first a 1988 novel by author Thomas Harris. Later, a Jonathan Demme-directed 1991 feature film adaptation.
