DC’s Morbius, Upcoming Movie: First Trailer and Release Date

Although the Sony studio currently shares Spider-Man with the MCU, has started to develop a Spider-Man universe of its own, based around the web-slinger’s antiheroes and enemies. The franchise kicked off with Venom, the box office success in 2018, and now has solo films led by Nightwatch, Kraven the Hunter, Black Cat, and Silver Sable in different stages of development.

However, it’s Michael Morbius’s turn, who’s better known by his super-powered alias Morbius the Living Vampire. Like as Morbius’ namesake, Jared Leto stars like a scientist whose attempt to cure himself of a rare blood disease goes very wrong when he afflicts himself with a form of vampirism instead.

Meet the Morbius’ cast:

The lead role Dr. Michael Morbius is Jared Leto.
Matt Smith as best-friend-turned-enemy Loxias Crown, the antagonist of Morbius who also has the same blood disease as Morbius;
Adria Arjona stars as Martine Bancroft, Morbius’ fiancee;
Jared Harris as Morbius’ mentor;
Tyrese Gibson, as an FBI agent referred to as “Agent Stroud,” is tasked with chasing Morbius down.

Morbius release date into theaters on July 31, 2020. But, he first trailer for Sony and Marvel’s Morbius is here, and reveals Spider-Man MCU connection, Michael Keaton cast, watch it below:
