Friends Reboot 2020
Fans of the ‘Friends’ have been waiting for the reboot of the show that was announced earlier this year. But unfortunately, everything was postponed because of the global pandemic COVID-19.
The shoot for the reunion episode was supposed to start by September end, but this is unlikely to happen due to the current situation.
In a recent interview, Jennifer Aniston said that in addition to the delay generated by the pandemic, they are trying to make the episode more ‘exciting’ and ‘funnier’.
For fans who have been waiting this long, it doesn’t make any difference to wait a few more months. But either way, when the reunion episode might release, it will surely garner some great attention from all over the world.
While we wait, we will remember the cast of ‘Friends’ while it was still on the air, compared to the appearance of each actor today. How are the cast actors today, 26 years after the first episode?
David Schwimmer (Ross)
David Schwimmer decided to stay away from the spotlight. He only made a few cameos, in series like 30 Rock and iCarly. In the cinema, he even made some films and dubbed one of the characters of the successful franchise Madagascar. His return to TV came in 2016 when he played a prominent role in the first season of American Crime Story. In the same year, he starred in the series Feed The Beast, canceled by the low audience. After a new period away, David made a cameo in the recent season of Will & Grace, in 2019. In 2020, he was the star of the series Intelligence, which until now has been shown only in the United Kingdom.
Jennifer Aniston (Rachel)
Jennifer Aniston, when the sitcom ended, devoted herself entirely to the cinema, becoming a big name in Hollywood. His weddings with Brad Pitt and Justin Theroux have also garnered much comment. But his return to the world of series only happened in 2019, when he starred in The Morning Show, the original production of the streaming platform Apple +. Being one of the biggest successes of the new platform, the second season is already guaranteed.
Courteney Cox (Monica)
Courteney Cox tried to exchange the comedy for the drama when starring the cunning Dirt. With the failure of the series, Courteney returned to comedy, with Cougar Town (2009–2015). But she also directed a handful of its episodes, as well as her first feature film Just Before I Go in 2014. Since then, the brunette has only been seen once in Modern Family, staying away from the TV. But that is about to change, as it has been confirmed to star in the Last Chance U series, a new production of the streaming service Spectrum. She’s divorced from David Arquette.
Matt LeBlanc (Joey)
Matt LeBlanc continued to live Joey (2004–2006), a spin-off focused on the character. The attraction ended up lasting only two seasons, being canceled by the low audience. However, the actor starred in the comedy Episodes for five seasons, in which he lived himself. LeBlanc picked up a Golden Globe for his work.
He made another big splash when he joined Top Gear as a presenter in 2016. His last appearance on TV was on the CBS channel’s Man With a Plan, where he starred for four seasons. But, unfortunately, the attraction was canceled this year.
Lisa Kudrow (Phoebe)
Lisa Kudrow, after the end of Friends, starred in HBO’s comedy The Comeback. However, despite the critical success, the series did not have the desired audience and was eventually canceled. In 2014, however, the attraction was revived for a revival. In the meantime, she also starred in the comedy Web Therapy, which has welcomed almost all of her Friends as guest stars. He also had a recurring role in Netflix’s Grace And Frankie. Likewise, she was also on the Space Force series, alongside Steve Carell, an attraction that was launched in 2020 by Netflix. Soon the actress will star in a new comedy series from Amazon, entitled Good People.

Matthew Perry remained active all these years, but without much luck. The actor starred in the series Studio 60 On The Sunset Strip, Mr. Sunshine, and Go On, all with one season. He has also starred in a few films, as well as a recurring appearance on The Good Wife, being highly praised. His last job was in the CBS comedy The Odd Couple, which lasted three seasons.
In 2013 the actor, who struggled with addiction for many years and spent time in rehab, opened a sober living house for people in recovery. The actor recently made headlines in the media, after announcing the sale of his coverage, and also due to health problems.
