In a new trailer, James Wan returns to his gruesome Saw-era horror roots in ‘Malignant’. HBO releases a 2nd official trailer today.

Malignant will be available on September 10 in theaters and on HBO Max, streaming only on the Ad-Free plan in the US for 31 days from its theatrical release. Check out below.

On social media, James Wan announces a new date for “Malignant’ and showed a first teaser poster.

‘Malignant’ is was previously slated to come out last year, but like many movies, was postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Now, was rescheduled by Warner Bros., the film gives a theatrical and IMAX release on September 10th.
Together with a simultaneous HBO Max streaming release for 31 days.

The screenplay by Akela Cooper is based on an original story by Wan, Ingrid Bisu, and Cooper. Wan directs and produces the film.
Wan’s movie has been given an R-rating.
“Strong horror violence, gruesome images, and for language”, although Plot details are being kept under wraps.

‘Malignant’ stars Annabelle Wallis. Maddie Hasson, George Young, Michole Briana White, Jake Abel, Jacqueline McKenzie, and Ingrid Bisu.

Wan is also producing the upcoming ‘Mortal Kombat’ set for a release nationwide on April 16, 2021, in theaters and HBO Max.
