The plot tells the story of Craig, a young boy who befriends an elderly recluse billionaire named Mr. Harrigan. Linked by their shared love of books he teaches Harrigan some things about the modern world.
This includes giving him a cell phone as a gift and teaching him how to use it.
When Mr. Harriman passes away, Craig learns that he is still able to talk to him on the phone from beyond the grave.

‘Mr. Harrigan’s Phone’ joins a number of other King adaptations currently in the works: Salem’s Lot, The Boogeyman, The Breathing Method, Christine, The Girl Who Loved Tom Gordon, and The Tommyknockers.
John Lee Hancock (The Little Things) writes and directs The film adaptation.
Blumhouse Productions’ Jason Blum, Carla Hacken (Hell or High Water producer), and Ryan Murphy (American Horror Story creator) are the producers.

‘Mr. Harrigan’s Phone,’ the next horror movie, is set to premiere on Netflix on October 5th.
