PIXIES – Hear Me Out (Official Video)

Formed in 1986 in Boston, Pixies is an American alternative rock band. From the original lineup (Black Francis, Joey Santiago, Kim Deal, and David Lovering), only Francis, Santiago, and Lovering still remain.
In 2013, Kim Deal left and Kim Shattuck was hired as a touring bassist, but she was replaced by Paz Lenchantin.
Since 2016, Lenchantin became a permanent member of the Pixies.

Associated with the 1990s alternative rock boom, Pixies draw on elements including punk rock and surf rock.

The single “Hear Me Out” arrives a year after the release of Pixies’ latest work. Their 7th studio album, Beneath the Eyrie, has released in September 2019.
The video is signed by director Maximilla Lukacs.

Paz Lenchantin is handling primary vocal duties on the song, besides co-produced and star in the video.
A surrealist Western filmed in Taos, New Mexico, and costarring Henry Hopper.

“Hear Me Out’ is about things not turning out the way we hoped, but knowing that it’s going to be ok regardless. Black [Francis] started the melody phrases on an old organ.
I loved it right away, so he asked me to take a pass at the lyrics. The song has an evocative melody that inspired the lyrics to come out straight away”.
