‘Ratched’: Sarah Paulson in the ‘Cuckoo’s Nest’ spin-off Trailer
‘Ratched’, Sarah Paulson’s new series on Netflix had your official trailer disclosed.
Nurse Ratched is a fictional character and the main antagonist of ‘One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest’, 1975’s film.
Now, Sarah Paulson is the younger version of the murderous nurse in Ryan Murphy’s series.
Recently, Netflix revealed that the series premieres September 18th.

Nurse Ratched (also known as “Big Nurse”) first featured in Ken Kesey’s 1962 novel as well as the 1975 film of the same name.

The film version of the novel, the role was played by Louise Fletcher.
Before, Anne Bancroft, Angela Lansbury, Geraldine Page, Colleen Dewhurst, and Ellen Burstyn turned down the role.
Fletcher was thought of for the role after Shelley Duvall was suggested for an alternative role.
Chosen that’s after Miloš Forman saw Fletcher appear with Shelley in Robert Altman‘s ‘Thieves Like Us’.

“In 1947, Mildred arrives in Northern California to seek employment at a leading psychiatric hospital where new and unsettling experiments have begun on the human mind.
