CBS in negotiations to CSI revival in the franchise’s 20th anniversary
CSI: Crime Scene Investigatin is the one of the biggest TV crime dramas ever might. And a CSI revival ever a great idea.
With the revival project is still in the dealmaking stages, CBS is looking to toast the 20th anniversary of one of its most successful franchises. The CBS network is in talks with CSI: Crime Scene Investigation original series creator Anthony Zuiker, Jerry Bruckheimer and the show’s creative team to bring back the procedural.

Certainly is that a new CSI revival would feature original cast members. Original stars William Petersen and Jorja Fox have been approached, but no formal offers have been made.

Sources talking Jason Tracey (Elementary) will write the script for a limited series designed to celebrate CSI’s anniversary.
What happening with the main actors after the end of series?

William Petersen
Petersen, leading the series for 10 seasons as Gil Grissom.
He be and returned for CSI’s two-hour series finale in 2015.

Marg Helgenberger
After CSI, she’s toplined on Intelligence, and recurred on Under The Dome.

George Eads
George Eads was a regular star in revival of MacGyver until 2018.
After leaves the series, he participated in the film Jangsa-ri 9.15 movie, in 2019, with Megan Fox.
Ended in 2015 after 15 seasons, having launched a $1 billion franchise for CBS.
Franchise with 3 spinoffs CSI: Miami, CSI: New York and CSI: Cyber.
