SNL Season 48: Meet The Four New Cast Members For The Fall Season 22/23

SNL Season 48 is running. Saturday Night Live’s return to Season 48 announced four new cast members who will be joining this season.
The fall television season is coming, series premieres on October 1.

Four new members are joining the comedic ensemble as featured players. Marcello Hernandez, Molly Kearney, Michael Longfellow, and Devon Walker.

Hernandez has opened for popular performers like Tim Dillon, Jim Breuer, Mark Viera, and the late great Gilbert Gottfried. Walker has also recently made it onto a few up-and-coming comedian’s lists.
They are all relatively unknown comedians.

Despite a particularly strong season, was also many cast members’ final season.
Kate McKinnon, Aidy Bryant, Kyle Mooney, and Pete Davidson, long-time cast members, left. Along with other underrated veterans Alex Moffat and Melissa Villaseñor.

It won’t be easy following up behind brilliant talents like McKinnon and Davidson. This summer saw more departures than usual.
SNL typically adds two or three new cast members every season. So it will be fascinating to see what these newcomers have to offer.

Staying the cast are Michael Che, Mikey Day, Chloe Fineman, Heidi Gardner, Colin Jost, Ego Nwodim, Chris Redd, Cecily Strong, Kenan Thompson, and Bowen Yang.
They also join returning featured players Andrew Dismukes, Punkie Johnson, James Austin Johnson, and Sarah Sherman.
And the legend Lorne Michaels continues to guide the show after almost 50 years.

Again, SNL Season 48 is coming to NBC on October 1.
