‘Star Trek: Strange New Worlds’: CBS surrenders to Pike and Spock’s fans

Star Trek: Strange New Worlds to follow Captain Pike, Spock, and Number One on The U.S.S. Enterprise.
CBS All Access orders new series Star Trek: Strange New Worlds, starring Anson Mount, Rebecca Romijn, and Ethan Peck.

The new series has based on the years when Captain Christopher Pike helms the U.S.S. Enterprise.
They explore new worlds around the galaxy, a decade before Captain Kirk boarded the U.S.S. Enterprise.

Will once again the show’s creative team will be Akiva Goldsman, Alex Kurtzman and Jenny Lumet.
