‘The Fall Guy’ Adds Aaron Taylor-Johnson to Cast Alongside Ryan Gosling And Emily Blunt

‘The Fall Guy’ is forming its cast. The remake of the 1980s adventure television series adds Aaron Taylor-Johnson to the cast. Aaron joins Ryan Gosling and Emily Blunt. The information was released exclusively by The Hollywood Reporter.

The movie is based on the original TV series created by Glen A. Larson, which ran on ABC between 1981 and 1986.
The series followed Hollywood stuntman and bounty hunter Colt Seavers (Lee Majors), who uses his rough-and-tumble skills to track and capture bail jumpers. However, the new film takes away the bounty hunter part.

The feature is written by British screenwriter and director Drew Pearce (Iron Man 3); jettisoning the side hustle and keeping the name and stunts from the original.
Gosling is a past-his-time stuntman. He finds himself back in a movie with the star he worked with a long time ago. Also with the one who replaced him.
Taylor-Johnson will play the movie star that Gosling is doubling for. Blunt is already cast as a prosthetic makeup artist that has a romantic past with our stuntman. The problem, however, is that the star is now missing.

The movie will be helmed by David Leitch (Bullet Train).
Universal’s Executive vice president of production Matt Reilly and director of development Tony Ducret are overseeing the project.
Gosling is producing along with Entertainment 360’s Guymon Casady, and Kelly McCormick and Leitch via their 87North shingle.

‘The Fall Guy’ comes in theaters on March 1, 2024, worldwide.
