‘The Gray House’: Kevin Costner and Morgan Freeman to Produce the Limited Series

Kevin Costner and Morgan Freeman to produce Paramount’s limited series ‘The Gray House.’
Kevin Costner’s Territory Pictures and the Revelations Entertainment of Morgan Freeman and Lori McCreary are producer companies.
Both actors’ production shingles are partnering with Big Dreams Entertainment’s founder Leslie Greif.
‘The Gray House’ will be a six-hour limited series for Paramount Global.

The series will shed light on the story of the unlikely trio of female spies who helped the North win the Civil War.
The group consists of a courtesan, a well-to-do member of Richmond society, and an African-American woman who had once been a slave.
The group was able to operate in the Confederate-occupied South, spying on those in the highest of commanding positions.
With genius and chess-like moves, they secured the win for American Democracy.

Greif penned the script alongside Darrel Fetty and the Oscar-nominated John Sayles.
Roland Joffe (Texas Rising), the Academy Award-nominated, will serve the project as director.
Rod Lake and Howard Kaplan will produce for Territory Pictures, and Costner joins as an executive producer.

‘The Gray House’ cameras are planning to begin rolling in the spring, although no release date has been determined as of yet.
