HBO has chosen Pedro Pascal, ‘The Mandalorian’ star, to play Joel in the new series, ‘The Last Of Us’
The series is an adaptation of the critically acclaimed video game, developed by Naughty Dog, exclusively for the PlayStation platforms.
The production marks Pascal’s return to HBO, where played Oberyn Martell on HBO’s mega-hit Game Of Thrones.

After GoT, Ramsey has dubbed the Netflix animation Hilda and appear in ‘His Dark Materials’ season 2.
Besides starring in Disney+’s popular and acclaimed series ‘The Mandalorian’, Pascal played the villain, Max Lord, in Wonder Woman 1984. Currently he in production on Judd Apatow’s ‘The Bubble’ for Netflix.
‘The Last Of Us’ is a co-production with Sony Pictures Television. PlayStation Productions, Word Games, The Mighty Mint, and game developer Naughty Dog produce.
The writer and creative director of the game, Neil Druckmann serves as executive producer. The series is writing by Craig Mazin, who created ‘Chernobyl’, other HBO’s acclaimed series.
Also executive producing are Carolyn Strauss, Naughty Dog’s Evan Wells, and Asad Qizilbash and Carter Swan of PlayStation Productions.
