‘The Silent Hour’: Joel Kinnaman Casts to Led New Action Thriller
The new action thriller ‘The Silent Hour’ set ‘Suicide Squad’ actor Joel Kinnaman as the protagonist.
Kinnaman will play a Boston detective who left hearing impaired after the accident. Sixteen years later, he begins working as an interpreter for the department.
The detective will have to go to extreme lengths to protect a deaf murder witness in an apartment building from corrupt cops who will stop at nothing to eliminate them.
Brad Anderson directs the action thriller script penned by Dan Hall. Anderson previously helmed the films Session 9 and The Machinist.
In addition to Kinnaman being cast in the lead role, there are currently no other cast announcements.
Kinnaman is a Swedish-American actor who has appeared in several popular films. Including The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo, RoboCop, and the Suicide Squad movies.
He has also appeared in the shows House of Cards, Altered Carbon, and For All Mankind.
Kinnaman will next be seen on the big screen in the films Sympathy for the Devil and Silent Night.
