The Twilight Zone: Season 2 trailer, premiere date announced

In the day to commemorate National Twilight Zone Day, Jordan Peele’s ‘The Twilight Zone, season 2 had its debut date and first trailer released by CBS All Access.

All 10 mind-bending episodes will launch June 25 on CBS All Access.

‘The Twilight Zone’ is the Jordan Peele and Simon Kinberg’s modern-day re-imagining of Rod Serling’s iconic anthology series with Peele as the host.
The new season will include a new roster of actors.
They’re telling stories that range from sci-fi to fantasty to downright creepy.
Morena Baccarin, Jenna Elfman, Sky Ferreira, Topher Grace, Tony Hale, Thomas Lennon, Joel McHale, Chris Meloni, Jimmi Simpson, Damon Wayans Jr., among others confirmed names.

The original Twilight Zone debuted on October 2, 1959 on CBS, and had 5 seasons.
In 1985, a first reboot attempt was aired on CBS.
Hosted by Charles Aidman (1985–1987) and Robin Ward (1988–1989), there were 3 seasons with 110 episodes.
In 2002, a second reboot was aired by the extinct UPN, with only one season of 44 episodes and a presentation by Forrest Whitaker.
The first season of Peele and Kinberg’s version of the anthology series launched April 1, 2019.

Peele’s Monkeypaw Productions and Kinberg’s Genre Films produce in association with CBS Television Studios.

In addition to Peele and Kinberg, Carol Serling also worked as executive producers until she passed away, in January. Carol was Rod Serling’s ex-wife.
Serving too as executive producers Win Rosenfeld, Audrey Chon, Alex Rubens, Glen Morgan and Rick Berg.
